Usage Effectiveness Monitoring

On December 2 at 15:40: Room D3 was under renovation, with TVOC levels detected at 10.0 MG/M3, accompanied by a strong paint smell;

On December 2 at 18:10: TVOC levels decreased to 3.53 MG/M3, and the paint smell significantly reduced;

On December 5 at 10:00: A strong cigarette smell was detected at sampling point 7, which dissipated after about 5 minutes;

On December 5 at 18:00: A faint cigarette smell was detected at sampling point 3, which dissipated after about 3 minutes;


Conclusion:

The overall TVOC levels in the environment are within the HK EPD and WELL guidelines;

The use of paint during renovation caused a sharp rise in TVOC levels, but the MASSPHOTON air disinfection machine continuously purified the air, rapidly reducing TVOC levels to pre-paint levels and maintaining them within the guidelines in an open environment.


Formaldehyde Levels

Conclusion:

The overall formaldehyde levels in the environment are within the HK EPD guidelines;

The use of paint during renovation caused a slight increase in formaldehyde levels, but this is still within the margin of error for instrument testing;

Data shows that the MASSPHOTON air disinfection machine can control indoor formaldehyde levels within the WELL guidelines, but further long-term verification is needed.


PM2.5 Concentration

Conclusion:

The overall PM2.5 levels in the environment are within the HK EPD guidelines, meeting the WELL guidelines;

The use of paint during renovation had almost no effect on PM2.5 levels;

PM2.5 particles settle after work hours in the evening, reducing the levels, while levels rise during the day with increased foot traffic;

During the day, after PM2.5 levels rise, the MASSPHOTON air disinfection machine continuously purifies the air, rapidly reducing levels below the WELL guidelines.


2. Sterilization Effectiveness

Data Explanation:

1. The T1 meeting room is used at irregular times daily, but the morning meeting schedule is stable, making it a dynamically balanced environment. Comparing data from three days before and after fixed operation times can reduce errors caused by variations in human activity.

2. On Friday, July 26, based on the previous four days of human activity, bacteria in the air multiplied significantly. On Monday, July 29, the two-day weekend caused previously suspended bacterial colonies to settle on surfaces, reducing the number of airborne colonies in the meeting room. On Tuesday, July 30, the meeting room was used normally, promoting the rapid multiplication of airborne bac.



Conclusion:

Rigorous on-site testing in various scenarios in the meeting room, comparing air quality data before and after the installation of the disinfection machine, showed that after the machine was operational, the number of airborne bacteria decreased significantly, with an average sterilization rate of 61.62% over three consecutive days.
